IV Therapy at Home vs. Clinic: Pros, Cons, and Safety

At-home and clinic IV therapy are equally safe when a licensed clinician administers the drip and follows proper protocols; the real difference is convenience, privacy, and cost. In-office visits at our Bedford studio tend to run a little less because there is no travel fee, while at-home service brings the same RN and the same drip to your door when you would rather not leave. For most people in southern and central New Hampshire, the choice comes down to how you feel that day and how much you value staying put.

Below we break down each setting honestly, so you can pick the one that fits your body, your schedule, and your budget.

How the two experiences actually differ

Both settings follow the same clinical sequence: a brief intake, a review of your health history, IV placement by a registered nurse, a 30-45 minute drip, and monitoring throughout. What changes is everything around the needle.

In-office at our Bedford studio

You come to 21 Commerce Park N in Bedford, settle into a treatment chair, and let us handle the rest. Because there is no travel involved, in-office drips are typically the most affordable option, and it is easy to add a friend or make it a quick stop between errands. The trade-off is that you have to be well enough to drive and comfortable receiving treatment in a shared space.

In-home and mobile service

With in-home IV therapy, the RN comes to you. You stay in your own bed or on your own couch, which matters a great deal when you are dehydrated, hungover, recovering from a procedure, or fighting off something. It is completely private, and we offer early, evening, and weekend windows. Our mobile and on-site service extends the same care to events, offices, and hotels for groups of 4 or more. The trade-off is a modest travel fee and the need to book a little ahead.

Same clinician, either way

A licensed RN starts and monitors every drip, whether you are in Bedford or at home.

Confirmation within 1 hour

Book online or by phone and we confirm your appointment quickly, often same day.

~45 minutes door to door

Standard drips are quick; NAD+ infusions run longer, about 2-4 hours.

FSA/HSA eligible

Many treatments qualify, and travel beyond our local area starts at $50.

Which one is safer?

Neither setting is inherently safer than the other. Safety depends on the person holding the needle, not the room you are in. At DripWell, every drip is administered by a licensed registered nurse who reviews your history, checks for contraindications, uses sterile technique, and monitors you throughout. That standard does not change when we walk through your front door. If a treatment is not appropriate for you, we will tell you before we start.

What about cost?

Our drip pricing is the same no matter where you receive it; the only difference is a travel fee for at-home and mobile visits beyond the local area, starting at $50. That keeps the decision simple: pay a little more for the comfort of staying home, or come to the studio and skip the fee. Here is the core menu.

Treatment Price Typical time
Basic Hydration / Saline $99 ~45 min
Immune Boost $199 ~45 min
Myers’ Cocktail $199 ~45 min
Hangover Cure $199 ~45 min
Performance & Recovery $249 ~45 min
Inner Beauty / Glow $249 ~45 min
NAD+ 250mg $299 2-3 hr
NAD+ 500mg $499 3-4 hr

Prefer a quick vitamin boost instead of a full drip? Our IM injections start at just $25 and take a couple of minutes.

How to choose the right setting for you

  • Choose in-home if you feel unwell, value privacy, or simply do not want to leave the house.
  • Choose in-office if you are feeling fine, want to skip the travel fee, and enjoy a quick studio visit.
  • Choose mobile/on-site for events, offices, or hotels with a group of 4 or more.
  • Consider a mailed NAD+ subQ kit if you want at-home NAD+ after a virtual consult.
